The Goldilocks Project |
Once there were three Bears.
A Pop bear, a Mom bear, and a small bear.
They all lived in a small house in the woods.
One day Mom bear cooked some mush. And the three Bears sat down to eat.
But the mush was too hot! So the three Bears thought they would go for a walk while the mush cooled.
As soon as they left, a small girl came by. She knocked on the door. No one was there. So she went in. Her name was Gold Locks.
Gold Locks saw three bowls of mush.
Gold Locks was starved! So she sat down to eat. She tried the big bowl of mush. But it was too hot. She tried the next bowl of mush. But it was too cold.
Then she tried the small bowl of mush. It was just right.
And she ate it all up.
Gold Locks was tired. She saw three chairs. She sat in the big chair. But it was too hard.
She sat in the next chair. But it was too soft.
Then she sat in the small chair. It was just right.
And then CRASH! The chair broke and Gold Locks fell to the floor.
Gold Locks yawned. Up the stairs she went. There she found three beds. She lay down in the big bed. But it was too hard. She lay down in the next bed. But it was too soft.
Then she lay down on the small bed. It was just right.
And Gold Locks soon slept.
And while she slept the three Bears came home.
Pop bear said, "Who ate my mush!"
"Who ate my mush!" said Mom bear.
"Who ate my mush!" said the small bear. "They ate it all up!"
"Who sat in my chair!" said Pop bear.
"Who sat in my chair!" said Mom bear.
"Who sat in my chair!" said the small bear. "They broke it to bits!"
"Who slept in my bed!" said Pop bear.
"Who slept in my bed!" said Mom bear.
"Who slept in my bed!" said the small bear. "She's still here!"
And with that, Gold Locks woke up, saw the three Bears,
screamed, and jumped to the ground
And ran away. And the three Bears did not see her again.
