How Much Is One

by Some One

If one kid climbed onto his own shoulder, he would be...

taller than a rabbit,

higher than a dog,

and a great circus act.

If you wanted to count from one to one...

it would take you about one second.

If a goldfish bowl were big enough for one goldfish...

it would be large enough to hold a whale's whisker.

Presto! One star. If this book had one star, it would fill seventy pages, if it were a great big star and cut into seventy pieces.

How big is two?

If two kids made a human tower...

they would be able to see the moon on a clear night.

If you sat down to count from one to two...

you would be counting for about two seconds.

If you found a goldfish bowl large enough to hold two golfish, it would be as big as the drink cup you might be in a stadium.

If this book had two stars...

its pages spread side by side would stretch almost ten miles. That is if the stars were really huge and cut into 70,000 pieces.

How tremendous is three?

If three kids stood on top of each other, they would be about as tall as me...

if I were standing on two kids shoulders.

If you wanted to count from one to three..

it would take you almost 200,000 years, if you got hit by lightning when you got to two.

If you put a three goldfish in a goldfish bowl...

the bowl would have to be as big as my mouth.

If you put three of our stars onto a gigantic roll of paper, it would stretch all the way from New York to New Zealand. If they were huge stars and you cut them into 70,000,000 pieces.
