Writing For Children 201: Beginning Picture Book Writing

Section 1: For the Completely Self-Motivated, and Possibly Obsessed

You don't need someone else to structure your study. You should do four things:

1. Study writing, starting with the resources on Help For Writers.
2. Read a lot--the kinds of things you want to write. And anything else you want to read.
3. Write a lot. A LOT!
4. Send out your manuscripts.

Do this, and you'll do fine.
