Using this Story to Teach Adjectives

I also hope that this book becomes as useful to teachers teaching about adjectives as Once There Was a Bull...frog is to teachers teaching compound words. Having so many adjectives describe the same thing puts emphasis on the adjectives, and sets up comparisons between the adjectives. The format of the book also allows kids to write their own That's My Dog! manuscripts, in the same way that they now write their own Bull...frog manuscripts.
